12 April 22: Education partner, Whizz Education, has been highly commended for a Learning Excellence Award in the Education category, for the company’s work to promote lifelong opportunities for all through individualised learning.
The Learning Excellence Awards are business awards for the whole training/learning and development sector and look to reward relevant, agile, innovative, excellent and effective initiatives, programmes, products and services wherever they may be found.
Emma Ringe, global schools director, Whizz Education explains: “Whizz Education’s experienced team brings expertise to some of the most pressing problems in education. For example, we bridge the common four-year ability gap between the least and most able students found within every maths class in every country around the world. We provide relevant content to students based on their ability not their age, so important in low-income countries when students are often five years behind their Western counterparts. Our work spans 6 continents, reaching 1.5 million students and thousands of teachers, and is 100% focused on improving quality education.
“We are now delighted our projects, which often involve low-income settings to promote learning opportunities for all, have been recognised in this way.”
The Finalists and High Commendation trophies were presented at a lunch event in the Britannia Suite at the National Conference Centre, on Friday April 8, 2022.
